VELUX LOGO Roof Windows

Superior features creating light & ambience

Roof & ceiling windows have been around for many years and over this time have advanced greatly from the old metal sky lights of the past.

In recent times even the VELUX windows we are all familiar with have been synonymous with attic conversions, however in today's ever demanding market for something different within communal living spaces, clients are now seeking more ideas to create light into these areas.

Over the years conservatories were popular however their ability to create a nice cosy homely feel throughout the long winter months in this country can be greatly questioned, whilst during the summer they become uncomfortably hot.

On this basis and our constant quest to satisfy clients requests for more feature light without the negative aspects of a conservatory and its requirement for either cost prohibitive roof blinds to shield the sun or alternatively numerous panes of expensive insulated glass to retain the heat has never been greater, with this in mind this page is designed to illustrate alternative uses we have created for VELUX windows to be incorporated into feature ceilings to maximise light and meet current popular requirements whilst also creating interesting areas to relax in.
